REPLACEMENT POLICY

Octa’s top priority is to make sure that you have working accessories for your iPad, Kindle, Kindle Fire, Nook, e-reader or tablet.  Please review our instruction guide (provided with the original packaging) to ensure that you have been following our recommendations for use.

WARRANTY

Octa’s products are guaranteed under normal use against defects in materials and workmanship for a period for one (1) year from the original purchase date.

This warranty applies only when products have been used as suggested and intended by Octa and specifically excludes defects from misuse, use beyond a product’s intended purpose or coincidental or consequential damage.  This limited warranty does not cover: (i) normal wear and tear of product use; (ii) misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse, or other abnormal use; (iii) any product that has been modified or altered; or (iv) any product that is not manufactured by Octa (including, but not limited to, any non-Octa product used in connection with the product).

If a returned defective product is no longer available, we will replace it with a similar product or one of equal value.

EXCLUSIONS and EXEMPTIONS

Octa does not provide replacements for returned products that are damaged due to misuse, lack of care, mishandling, accident, abuse or other abnormal use.

For products purchased during a period of backorder, the one (1) year period for replacements will begin on the date shipment confirmation  is sent.

Octa is not liable for products lost in transit to Octa.  Customers outside the United States are responsible for paying customs fees, including, but not limited to, taxes, duties and brokerage.

This replacement policy applies only to customers making purchases directly from Octa.com or from Octa’s authorized resellers.  For a full list of authorized resellers, email help@octa.com.

This replacement policy is non-transferable and applies only to the original direct end user purchaser.  It does not apply to dealers, distributors or any other third parties in a distribution chain who purchase product for resale or cover products purchased through online auction websites or channels other than Octa’s website.

REPLACEMENT AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER ONLY. OCTA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF ANY EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY ON THIS PRODUCT.

Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This Warranty, Return and Replacement Policy gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
